Congratulations to the LJCDS Women's Tennis team who defeated La Jolla High School to claim the Division I CIF Championship. It was a tight, competitive competition all Saturday night at the Barnes Center. The Torreys trailed 4-2 after the first rotation and 7-5 after the second. But the girls never quit and battled to a 9-9 tie after three rotations and earned the title by defeating the Vikings 74-64 in games. This was the second consecutive D1 Championship for Head Coach Mike Reisinger and the Torreys.
